Thanks for the fish,Kev, I love them. I sent you some, too. I also love this calm, in control, confident Kev. Keep it up, it's wonderful to see and we're all proud of you. I think we better keep penguin away from the aquariums, good catch there. Also, probably the horse & the goat shouldn't be able to get into any gardens. Morning All, Yes, all is good in my little world for the time being. Unhooked, hope you like the fish. If penguin arrives on fb, is she allowed an aquarium? :) Tresa, Yes I quit smoking on a Thursday. Hence you always get a new thread from me and to me it is kind of a new week (its a new non smoking week). We are the Thursday crew! Aloha is too I think. I just have to look at Mister Ed's great chart. I guess it just shows you can quit smoking on any day of the week! Tresa, I promise to keep on throwing everything at this quit and that includes keeping my guard up at all times. Every smokefree day is a great day. Sue, Walking on Sunshine? Yes! But I had better put some ice in my boots first. :) Josie, thanks for that! I look forward to seeing that sweet sunset avatar. Happiness is a great asset. Those smileys suit you. Aloha. is that a young you in the avatar btw? I'd fall off that surfboard in seconds flat. Make that microseconds. :) Your photos of Hawaii always make me happy. Morning All, Well new week, new thread as usual. This week is called 'Pumpkin' week. Because this encompasses halloween or all hallows eve. I hear it is a very big thing in the US and it is getting bigger over here every year. I don't remember trick or treating myself as a youngster but I do remember taking my baby sister around the street. No lighters for lighting the candle in the pumpkin. Its going to be a weird first for many things. I haven't been supplying the flame for birthday candles either for a while. One of the things you don't think of when you quit. Btw Unhooked, continuing on from our conversation. I am currently rolling on a good vibe and I hope it lasts for a bit longer. By mid week I even seem normal. :) It could be progress or a minor temporary spell of happiness. Either way I am going with it. Plus I have been carving pumpkins for Sue and John. They weren't wrong. It does take my mind off smoking for a bit. Plus giving people fish and songs...yes it is all good. I wonder if anyone will notice my random album comments too. :) It is important to show the good as well as the bad. I have good days too. Yippee. I am currently trying to show my rock element for Ex-Roller and Kelly by listing some of my favourite artists. Anyway, enough from me today. Before I forget...my important bit. I promise NOT TO SMOKE this week. Yes, I have been taking a lot of things you all said to heart and have been trying to learn from them. Hence I am making my promise! Until next time. HUGS from kev My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 105 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,625 Amount Saved: 441.00 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 4 Mins: 26 Seconds: 46
