Hello Lucy, You are diffentently on the right track, and Yes!! You have choosen the right place to quit Your addiction, But, You made the remark of taking one thing at a time', When I came through this website 4 plus years ago, right from the Get-Go, gave up the addiction of cigerettes, BUT!! I replace that addiction with another addiction, It's call Excercising Daily, and eating Healthy foods, I lost 25 pounds last year just by walking 2 1/2 miles aday, and living mainly on a good Romaine Lettuce salad, Yes!! Believe It, Yes Lucy, stay with that Gym Club You belong too, After 4 years of walking down the road and back, doing it is like getting out of bed ever morning and putting Your shoes on, it's just automatic after awhile, hope to do it the rest of my life, Good Luck in Your journey, I smoked 40 years, You can Quit too, Smokless In Oklahoma :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/10/2003 Smoke-Free Days: 1686 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 50,580 Amount Saved: $7,216.08 Life Gained: Days: 394 Hrs: 5 Mins: 46 Seconds: 13

I'm back again. I'm using the patch and chewing lots of surgarless gum. This is going to be hard because I live with smokers. Mornings are going to be the worst. But I'm looking forward to a smoke free life. I've joined a gym to help. So far I've lost 10 pounds! But I know I have to take one thing at a time. Looking forward to talking to all of you.
