Welcome back Bobbi! I am back for the first time myself -- I used to live in FL and know red tide well. It can really cause problems if you ignore the warnings. Yucko on the mask and smoking. I can beat that -- at the hospital over the last few weeks I saw COUNTLESS people wheeling IV poles out to the smoking area we had to pass for the 5am visit. I was so disgusted, I can't begin to tell you! Anyway - glad you made it home safe and smokefree! Hey Bobbi, it sounds wonderful despite the red tide! Any day, time or place with an ocean view is great by this prairie girl! The weight will come off too! Do it just like you did quitting smoking and it'll be a breeze. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 226 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,650 Amount Saved: $2,384.30 Life Gained: Days: 27 Hrs: 14 Mins: 47 Seconds: 18

Welcome back,Bobbi! We missed you & thought of you often, so maybe there is something to that writing in the sand theory. I'm really glad you had such a wonderful time, you sure had it coming & what a great husband to take you away when you needed the break the most. It's just like you to make the best of any negatives, Bobbi, that's why we love you. And really, is staying on the balcony really THAT negative? ;p See you at the bonfire! Hi everyone, Well I am back, got back late Sun. I had the most wonderful time, the only bad thing was they had what they call Red Tide, which made my husband and I cough, alot when outside, we made the best of it though could see the ocean from our balcony, and our sliding door from the living room so we sat in front of the door alot, I will tell you one thing that was great if I had been smoking I hate to think how bad I would have coughed, there was a lady that sat out at the pool every day with a mask on to try to help with the coughing, BUT she also would remove the mask every time she had a cig. then put the mask back on, lol lol and sometime ago I would have done the same thing, and is sooooo sad, now especially since I am a nonsmoker!!!!!!!!!! At first I did have a few triggers, since forst time there without smoking BUT I made it fine, I used to get up at 4 or 5 in am get my coffee and go out on the balcony and sit, watch the sun come up that I felt I couldn't do this year would have been to uncomfortable, so guess what I slept in and that was wonderful also as I never do that, so found another great comfort I had never experienced before. One bad thing I did gain another 10 lbs. which I always have done but now that makes 20 lbs. I have to remove now, am very depressed about that but just have to work hard to get it off and in time I will and if I don't oh well I am just so happy to not be a smoker. am joining a gym at the hosp. Nov. 1st so with all else I do better do the trick!!!!!!! is so bad as it was so easy to smoke and stay skinney, which I sure was, but NOPE! I am so glad to be back though, sure missed all of you, ALOT!!!!!! I did write some of your names in the sand, thought it might give some of you the telepethy of the pease of the senerity of the beach! well enough already! hugs, prayers, pixie dust Bobbi My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/27/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 203 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,090 Amount Saved: $507.50 Life Gained: Days: 29 Hrs: 20 Mins: 4 Seconds: 47
