Yes God is doing this as much as chantix, maybe more. I also belive God gave us Chantix. I'm hangin' tough and getting through some tough times without smoking. Hello MrLucky! -- Just a few words, first - I would switch the words around - what is working other than GOD is Chantix. You will make it through this. Just don't give up. We are here - I agree, read the posts, hall of fame - we have ALL been where you are right now! Look forward to seeing more of you! You get an orange sucker - my absolute favorite - saved for those who need an extra something to get through! Hey, mrlucky, the quit meter is in your personal profile, top rightish. Just keep not lighting those smokes, one after the other and pretty soon you will be a chain non-smoker! A non smoker for life is certainly the goal, you hafta remember that you will also be an addict for the rest of your life so don't get to thinking a nice reward for not smoking would be to smoke "just one". The Mantra around here is N.O.P.E. that's Not One Puff Ever!! Really, seriously for the rest of your life. Just ask anybody how great it feels to be FREE. Thanks for the support. I'll have to check out the quit meter. I thought it was automatic.

Hi mrlucky, Sorry about having to go to the ER..hope you are better. Why don't you get your quit meter going so you can see your days add up? It is a good motivator at times. Just remember NOPE..not one puff ever. Great job at staying smoke free. new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 145 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,480 Amount Saved: $725.00 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 0 Mins: 38 Seconds: 5

Thanks for the support and good words. Today is a bit rougher than previous days. I'm behind on sleep from doing an all nighter at the local ER from gall stones. I'm a bit punchy and frustrated and I must be very carefull. all the best

Mrlucky, you are a non-smoker today, and you will be for as long as yo don't light the next one. Take whatever help & support you need wherever you find it. This is a hard thing and you're doing just fine.
