Tonight I went to the high school football game (because my son is a drummer in the band) and it was a bit cool outside so I reached into the closet and brought out a light jacket. Apparently I have not worn that jacket since last year, because in one of the pockets was a partial pack of cigarettes. I went out into the kitchen where my daughter was and said, "Hey, I haven't worn this for a while, guess what I found in the pocket," and pulled out the pack that had maybe five cigarettes left in it, holding it up for her to see. I had to laugh at her reaction. "Ewwwwwwwww! Yeah, I guess it has been a while! Yuck!" It felt so foreign to be holding a pack of cigarettes again -- yet at the same time so familiar... The thoughts I was having up creeped me out so I dropped it quickly into the kitchen trash can and left for the game. Ewwwwwwww. Yuck.
