unhooked, I'm in manisnowba lol. 9-10 for a pack of 25 I believe. BC is about the same price for a pack of 20. Oilberta is expensive! Cigarettes Not Smoked

Imagine meeting you here Lizzie! :) Back when I quit smoking in 2002 a carton of cigarettes was about $40. If you bought single packs it was about a dollar more per pack. Since I had cut down dramatically prior to actually quitting I recorded my quit price at $5 per pack x 4 packs per week and even at that low amount I have saved well over $10,000.00. Cigarette prices were on the rise again and by the time my husband quit 4 months later he was paying $7 per pack, plus he smoked a lot more than I so he has saved almost double what I have not burnt up in smoke! Health is a big deal when you are thinking about quitting, but the cost factor is a major one too! Can you imagine the thousands and thousands of dollars we burnt up in smoke, still to this day it amazes me. between $9.00 - $10.00/pack depending on where you buy it. That works out to about $9-$10 US since the canadian dollar is par with the US greenback :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 34 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 510 Amount Saved: $306.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 19 Mins: 57 Seconds: 18

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

I was paying around 3.00 a pack. Carlos, I don't know what is worse cheap cigs or ones that cost a lot. I can remember on some of my quits thinking I wish I could just buy one and not a whole pack. Thinking I could smoke one and get away with it, but a whole pack meant I had lost another quit. Bottom line the cost of smoking is horrible, considering what it does to your health.
