ROFLMAO!! Greger, that was SO awesome! I'm a big bacon lover, too, & if I had to choose balcony or bacony rewards, I'd have a pretty tough time! Sounds like you had a GREAT, you-day, Greger! omg Greger I am literally drooling. I was expecting to be all jealous of you having balcony rewards too. And I am....but of different ones than I thought. Since my son just left I am planning on a much lighter diet, but oh damn, all those bacon type meals sound delicious. I guess a little crumbled on a spinach salad wouldn't be too bad. Glad you're treating yourself well..you deserve it Hmmm...wondering what wine goes with bacon :confuse: My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 185 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,400 Amount Saved: $1,258.00 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 21 Mins: 40 Seconds: 5

Greger, You make me want to have a meal with you. Everything sounds so good. I also had bacon and eggs this morning. I didn't even think about smoking after I ate. That is wonderful. Since there is no one for me to adjourn to the balcony with for those rewards I scarce remember, let me introduce the lonely mans version, Bacon! Early this morning with the sun just peeking up over the trees the house was resplendent with the aroma of bacon crisping in the pan. Nitrates and nitrites and sodium be damned this is my reward and one well earned with eggs and toast and Irish butter, fig preserves as well. Then noon and toast again, this time with crisp iceberg lettuce, sparkling and green, a ripe beefsteak tomato sliced thick and slightly salted, just a bit of mayo and a mound of Bacon! A perfect BLT. As the sun went down and the day was done, an enormous potato went into the oven and again the bacon in the pan. Could I ever grow tired of that lovely smell? Smoky pork sizzling and singing it's merry little song, soon the potato was perfect, great slatherings of sour cream and more Irish butter, salt and pepper and another heaping helping of crumbled bacon, a few chopped chives, and double gloucester cheese grated o'er the top! You ladies can eat the kitchen sink, Che'Greger's having BACON.
