The wine was a medium bodied Shiraz, Jacobs Creek Reserve. :) I was just sayin' I got cobwebs on my balcony but I've done tons of wonderful stuff for myself. A new blender/food processor, quite a few new clothes, Egyptian cotton bed linens, several decorator items for the house. The best damn pencil sharpener in the world for my shop. I've also given myself naps when there was work to do, a one hour massage, special little treats like lots of bacon, as long as you're crumbling bacon on the spinach salad, Aloha, make a little batch of warm bacon dressing. To keep the flavor and make it healthier just drain off all the bacon grease but the layer left in the pan and add olive oil. Try some toasted pine nuts on it too, just a few seconds in a hot skillet toasts em nice.
Every one of us should be doing everything nice for ourselves that we can, we've earned it, we deserve it. We are each and every one of us very special people for being able to do something that few people can do. Pat yourself on the back, give yourself a present!
