The Magic of 77

Magic 77? The magic is your quit. Look at you go girl. 77 days and 11 weeks. It just seems like yesterday and here you are keeping the quit. I remember 11 weeks, couldn't believe I had gotten that far. It has been hard fought, just like yours, but look at us we are smoke free for today. Who says there is no magic to 77? I think there is lots, 7 is a lucky number, therefore 2 of them is even luckier. It is also 11 weeks. So I think you should celebrate, also next week at 12 weeks until you get to the magic 13, not only a lucky number in itself, but also a very special 3 months (and that is your definitely your next major celebration) 100 days will follow hard on the heels of 3 months, but there is no need to wait until then to reward yourself and party! I know there really is no magic but 77 just seems like an interesting number to me. My daughter called last night and wanted to know when my next milestone would be so she could plan ahead. I told her 100 days.(both girls and son-in-law and grands very supportive of quit) This morning when I looked at my meter I just felt a warm feeling about the 77 days. I doubted myself getting 7 then 17 and 27 and so on. I no longer have doubts that I can stay nicotine free. I know I can if I want to. I can do anything I really want too. This site has taught me that. My goal now is 777 days. Dream big.Reach out. Live. BLUE CLOUD After 47 years of smoking I have not smoked for 77 days. Maybe it's the 7's that caught my attention.
