Hi Pat and everyone! So good to see you still checkin' in. There is nothing I could add to your post, except that without that Magic Ship, my quit would have been much more difficult, and not nearly as much fun. It took so much concentration to keep up with you clever folks and keep the cruise going, I didn't have time to think about smoking. I still don't! To those still in the early days, don't give up. It does get easier! To the experienced quitters and those who have helped me so much, THANKS! I couldn't have done it without your support. Remember the Magic! Nance (helicopter pilot) ***dusts off her magic boa, slips into her bikini and meanders down the beach with wine and chocolate softly singing to the Nicodemon**** But since you've been gone I can breathe for the first time Im so movin on Yeah yeah Thanks to you Now I get What I want Since you've been gone ~~~~Kelly Clarkson My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 217 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,510 Amount Saved: $1,052.45 Life Gained: Days: 30 Hrs: 6 Mins: 25 Seconds: 24

Congratulations to all the wonderful new quitters (and you experienced ones) for taking your lives back from this nasty addiction. The support we all get on this site is phenominal. Almost 8 months ago, a handful of us new quitters started our journey to freedom. We educated ourselves, made our plans and welcomed all the advice and support the SSC and it's members gave us. In addition to the regular threads, we started the "Magic Ship thread" where we spent most of our time here at SSC. Some very fine quitters joined us...some stayed throughout our journey...some popped in for visits. Our first few weeks were intense. We used a lot of humour, some tough love and tons of positive encouragement to help each other through the good times and the rough ones. Finally we got to the point where our quits were fairly solid and time no longer permitted us to keep the Magic Ship going, so we made or way ashore...to the land of quit...reality and the wonderful new lives we'd created. It was time to enjoy our freedom. We've all been doing just that. Last week we sent a group email update to and from the following members...Freemom, Rainie, Mr. Magic, CallmeMomMom, JT, Faithfreedom and myself. Every one of us is happy to be quit and living busy non smoking lives. I wanted to personally say a big THANKYOU to the mods who helped us, to everyone who stopped by to visit, to cheer us on and who joined us in having as much fun as we possibly could while kicking this addiction. I've been really, really busy, and haven't had any time to spend here at SSC lately. I just wanted to pop in with an update and say hello to all my friends. Congratulations on all the amazing milestones I see being celebrated. Keep kicking ash everyone!
