Bear, Dreams are quite normal! Take them in stride and use relaxation techniques to calm you before sleep. This will help in achieving a more restful sleep and less vivid dreams! Sweet dreams :) Josie, Support Specialist

Bear, I too had a couple of smoking dreams, I think this is quite common, and I would say it is our subconscious saying goodbye to the addiction,or trying to anyway. Or it could be that we are afrais of starting again What do I know!LOL! lynnexx My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/24/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 328 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,920 Amount Saved: 1,312.00 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 8 Mins: 11 Seconds: 2

Well, my last name isn't Froid. I read that dreams are a continuation of what's happening in our lives, and sometimes of the things we fear...like starting smoking again... :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 196 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,900 Amount Saved: $2,067.80 Life Gained: Days: 24 Hrs: 0 Mins: 4 Seconds: 7

I have only dreamed of smoking a couple of times but I have often woken up with a taste like cigarette smoke in my mouth & been pretty freaked out for a minute. Maybe I dreamed but didn't remember? It might be our mind's way of dealing with the smoking thoughts we ignore throughout the day. Just acknowledging them & getting rid of them in a safe way. Whay does it mean if you dream of eating deep-fried twinkies on a Bowflex on the balcony? One time, I had a really weird dream that I was at a party on a beach & I was having a beer and ribs with a big hairless bear who was wearing a thong & riding a Harley. WTH kind of unresolved issues do think THAT might be? :8o: My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 127 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,540 Amount Saved: $1,397.00 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 18 Mins: 28 Seconds: 19

I know thats a terrible way to get your attention but now that your here lets talk about dreams.I,ve been having some weird ones lately but when you consider the source that should come as no surprise. The part that interest me though is the part were I start smoking again ??This is apparantly not unusual as several other people have had the same experience. I read some where that dreams are unresolved issues that the brain trys to solve while we sleep. If this is true than it would appear that I still have things to sort out about not smoking ?? I know nothing of these things and introduce it purely for it,s entertainment value. So if you have some thoughts on this just jump on in and voice your opinion all I ask is that you keep your opinions in line with SSC policy. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 181 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,258 Amount Saved: $1,810.00 Life Gained: Days: 41 Hrs: 10 Mins: 30 Seconds: 37
