Way to go CJ, 1 month that is huge. You are doing a very good job, keep up your good work. Quitting smoking is the best gift to yourself. What a great month!!!! Well sorta... I haven't smoked in a month... that makes it great. I told my Dad today that I quit smoking. I knew he wouldn't believe that I could quit. His first comment was, "how long have you quit for this time?" then it was "tell me when you've quit for a year, then I'll know you've really quit". He's always been negative when it comes to anything I do. I just wanted to scream and throw things. Then I got a call from my Doctor's office, they got my blood test results from last week and want me to go in to discuss them. They only call when theres something there, so I find out on Monday what's wrong. He tested a lot of things, so it could be number of things, but the one that he was really concerned about was diabetes. So I'll have to wait until Monday to see if I have diabetes. I'm so proud of myself that throughout the day I never once thought of lighting a cigarette like I normally would have when I was stressed. I'm a non-smoker now, and nothing will change that. YAY ME!
