Just an update on my blood test.........
Yay! Nothing in the blood! The receptionist had me all worried for nothing! She told me that something was found and the Doc wanted to discuss it with me. Turns out there was a false positive but when they ran the same test twice after that, it was negative both times. The reason the Doc wanted to see me was because the tests were all negative, and he thinks that the problem I'm having is neurological. He thinks it's a pinched nerve or something affecting my nerves. So now I'm waiting for a referral to a Neurologist. Although this isn't the answer I was looking for, it's much better than the one I was expecting. So a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Now I can go back to my diet, and not worry so much about what I'm eating.
Thank you all for your concern.

Good for you Cj! Some of my girlfriends were like that, it was always "when are you quitting?" or "did you quit?" Now that I have been quit six months, not once have they said "Good for you" or anything. I think they expect me to fail...well I got news for them. I can't wait to say "ya, I quit over a year ago" :)

Congrats on your one month, that is awesome. Try and understand where your dad is coming from. I know I told people I quit and only to smoke again. There are some just waiting for me to smoke again. Well you know what CJ you and I can show every doubter that we have quit, right? So let's keep moving on one day at a time, okay.
Good job, proud of you!!!
Keep the Quit

I just told my mom today. She's very positive but I wanted to be sure I had a handle on the quit before I told her. I didn't want to let her down again. There's a reason people don't believe us when we say we've quit since most of us have failed a time or two, My brother said yeah you quit every time you put one out it just never lasts......
This time they're all gonna see
a brand new smoke free me!

Yay, you is right, CJ! That first month is awesome & look at you knocking down the triggers. Sue is right, it is your quit & it would be nice if your dad was more positive about it. It would also be nice if we had an extra arm in the middle of our back so we could do our hair like the stylist does. But we don't.
You're doing great, keep doing what you're doing & that's how it gets done!!
