Mama D, You got it going on. Keeping a positive attitude, knowing it is my choice to quit, and long slow deep breaths has been the foundation for my quit.I whine through posts to make it through another crave.I'm a newbie still learning how to do this. It has gotten sooo much easier for me. You are in the hardest time and you are doing great. Read, read, read. Education is the key. I thought I knew everything about trying to quit but I have learned alot here. Mamma, Your doing great. The beginning is hard...but you already know that. So..take one day at a time and watch your stats grow. Remember.....if you can do one day...you can do two. And...if you can do two days you can do three. Pretty soon you'll be counting weeks!! Really. Time will begin to fly and you'll have such pride in yourself. Protect that. Mamma, Go for you for keeping busy and changing up the routine! Continue to do this and those craves will fade into the background! Make sure you drink lots of water to rid your body of all those toxins. Use relaxation techniques every night before bed and ease into sleep. This helps you wake up refreshed and ready for the day. Most of all start getting your reward ready for making it through "Hell Week" Josie, Support Specialist

I actually enjoyed my coffee this morning WITHOUT that smoke and it felt mighty good. This is a major hurdle for me but I'm dealilng!!!!. Have tons of errands today which will keep me busy for while anyway. I have a bookkeeping project that I have been putting off for a while that I will start today which will definitely keep me busy. Instead of smoking for a break I will go outside and walk. Water and deep breaths do help. I can already feel my breathing getting better. Having trouble staying asleep and find that all I think about is not smoking. Hope this faze will lesson soon. Thanks for all the responses...it really does help!!
