Released in the Sept.4th issue of Neurology, a Dutch study found that smokers are 50% more likely to develop Alzheimer's or dementia! Over the course of the study, people who were smokers were 50% more likely to develop dementia than people who never smoked, 'or were former smokers.' (Yeah, thats us!) Smoking increases the risk of cerebovascular disease! (Quoted from MSN News today) So add that to your arsenal of why to quit! For your sanity! P.S.:It didn't say anything about how long you had to be quit......that could explain some of the behaviours around here..... :8o: My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 184 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,600 Amount Saved: $1,941.20 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 10 Mins: 49 Seconds: 1
