Smoke Free Holiday

Hey blue cloud don't spend to much time hanging out in the past you can always find something back there that you can associate with a good time and smoking. Tackling a subject like addiction with somebody that does'nt see themselves as an addict can be a little tricky.I tend to backdoor it,bring it up as casual conversation, tell them that you just read this article or you can say" since I've quit smoking Ive learned this about addiction etc." You get the picture. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 164 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,952 Amount Saved: $1,640.00 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 13 Mins: 14 Seconds: 14

This is actually the second holiday I have been smoke free. The first one was July 4th the first day of my quit. I am truely amazed as I look back at the progress I have made. Let me say now how helpful this site has been to me. The Holiday rapidly approching is causing me some concern. I am about to have the first chance to apply all the tools I have been learning about to other areas of my life. I'm a non smoker (with a smoke free house) and wish to keep it that way. Being exposed to all the old triggers and my record of wanting to go back, Wishing how things could be, and remembering the good all concern me. Any suggestions on dealing with loved relatives with addictions? I don't want to hurt any feelings or have any confrontations.
