Congrats to you and your son, PB! Have fun and enjoy reveling in your pride! As far as the car ride, I have to rent cars often and I haven't been in a smoking vehicle in years. I don't think you can rent them anymore. (of course I always smoked in them anyway, but your ex in law doesn't have to know that). Be proud. Your son will be such a man when you see him. It was one of our proudest days to see our son graduate boot camp. There is just something about seeing your "boy" on the field with all the others. PB it is okay for grown men to shed a tear. Hello to everybody! I'm off to Great Lakes Illinois tomorrow morning to see my oldest graduate bootcamp!! It seems like its been forever since he left home. He sounded like a whole different person on the phone, he is so proud of himself, it was a struggle for him and he made it through. He needed this, for his self esteem, and just growing up in general. I am so proud of him, I can't wait to see him Friday morning in his dress blues. The only bad part I see of this trip is I'm driving my X, her mom, and her niece up there, and that in itself isn't the problem, it's that her mom smokes, and I'm not sure I can handle her smoking the vehicle on the way up. I guess I'll have to lay down the law! It's a rental, and usually they are non-smoking vehicles. So, thanks again for all your support, you all were great. Sorry I haven't been around, but its easier for me if I'm not reminded of it everyday. Traffics pretty good in Chicago right?? :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/2/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 130 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,240 Amount Saved: $1,248.00 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 21 Mins: 13 Seconds: 20
