Gregor, you are doing good. The first 19 days sucked for me but they are behind me now and serve as a reminder to not go through that again. Not all days are good when you are smoke free. All days are better when you dont smoke. I had a terrible day yesterday and managed to not even want to smoke all the day long. That is what I have been waiting for. I Did it. You can too!
Yesterday this mechanism failed
Gregor...it didn't fail...you succeeded. You didn't smoke! That is a successful day. No matter what you have to do, just don't smoke. That's the secret! Good job! SO far I've been able to instantly deflect every urge or craving away from tobacco. Yesterday this mechanism failed and I was barely able to stay sane with the drubbing the junkie was giving me. I didn't even want to come here because it made me think of smoking. I made a lamb pie, washed it down with a couple of ales and then went straight to bed. Today seems to be just fine and back on track.
