Stef, YOU have every right to be proud...proud as a peacock. It isn't easy is it?......doing special things...like vacations without smoking. Eacn and every adventure you take smoke-less makes you more powerful. (both in body and spirit). Now..... you should have a little reward...(as if a vacation was not enough...LOL) Mercy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 216 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,320 Amount Saved: $965.52 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 10 Mins: 0 Seconds: 23

Congratulations, Stef, and welcome back. A 7 million drop in 7 years is pretty good. At that rate, another 17 years and it will all be over, lol. When I smoked, I was in the minority and often felt like a social outcast. Nobody anywhere around me smoked. If I ever did happen to stumble upon another one there was instant comraderie. When I quit the smokers came out of the woodwork. Now most everyone smokes and I can't seem to get away from them.:confuse: It's got to be our perception, that's all. We're proud of you, too, Stef. Congrats on 53 days of freedom. Hey guys! Just got back from my vacation and it was wonderful :) I'm not gonna lie...i did have a few HORRIBLE cravings...but I DID'NT SMOKE!!!! While on vacation, i heard on the radio that in the year 2000, statistic Canada estimated that 24 million canadians were smokers. In 2007, the statistic went down to 17 million. That's pretty good. But let me tell you the 17 million that are smoking lives where i went on vacation. OH MY GOD...i never saw soooo many smokers. Everywhere i went , they were there. It got me nuts. That's why i think it was harder for me to stay smoke-free and why i had those horrible cravings. Anyways, i really did'nt want to celebrate my 50 day milestone by having a cigarette. I'm very proud of myself and i'm glad to be back. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/2/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 53 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 530 Amount Saved: $212.00 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 21 Mins: 23 Seconds: 1
