Grandma, Don't be too hard on yourself. All you can do is learn from the past and apply it towards today. Be proud of your three weeks! Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

Grandma - you absolutely deserve to celebrate! You've reached the 3 week mark and no matter if you messed up before - this time is what counts. Know that you can go the distance and also know what messed you up so you won't repeat it! Also, REWARD yourself! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 148 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,776 Amount Saved: $603.84 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 18 Mins: 17 Seconds: 46

It IS a big deal, grandma & you should be proud for giving it another go. You have the benefit of the experience of those 17 months & no one can take that away. You just make sure you bring what you learned to this quit & make it the last one! A root canal??? That is no kind of reward at all! you need a reward for getting through that! Big deal and I could have17 months but anyway just concentrating on this quit. I bought my toy poodle a cowgirl dress for a reward. Yesterday had a root canal. Not much of a reward but on the way to healthy teeth. Next week an extraction and root planing. Soon I'm going to have pretty white teeth if I have to drink my coffee with a straw. Not too many craves, maybe because I had such a short slip but I.m not gonna do that again.
