LMAO - ROTF! Now THAT post wins the prize of the day! My favorite name for my ex is "The Donor" because in 16 years, that was the best I got out of him - my daughter. Of course, he gets a little testy when I slip and say that out loud when he's around.

HA! I win! I said I bet Dear Husband, someone else said Darling Hubby. I just call them all Doorknob or Babe, keeps them sorted out according to whether I like them, but removes the responsibility for actually remembering anyone's name. Of course, I'm not married!

On some boards it is Dear Husband - but on bad days, Dick Head works too!

Ok, what is with this DH? You & Sue call your husband's DH. Up here, it means Dick Head. I don't think that's what you girls mean.

Sounds wonderful! Unfortunately, I am originally from Florida so I've never ice skated. And skiing, well - that was in Banff and I didn't master that either! DH and his entire family are love to ski. You could just drop me off at the bunny slop with that little escalator. ha.

It's a big country! In my part, it gets pretty cold but not usually for a long stretch. It might get minus 35 for 10 days or so a few times between Nov & Mar. We also get chinooks, which are warm southwesterly winds that can raise the temp 20 degrees in a couple of hours. They last a few hours to a week. The skiing is AMAZING & you can skate on the Olympic speed skating oval! It's awesome ice if you like skating!

LMAO - I can just picture that! I love winter - love it, love it, love it! I would love a trip up north, but if I don't quit asphyxiating people and throwing them in the fire I don't think I will be welcome! How cold DOES it get?
