This is a NON SMOKING site, it is for people who have quit smoking, it is NOT a chat room for those who are smoking!!! I find it offensive when members go back to smoking and don't leave the site until they are ready to quit again, meanwhile the rest of us are fighting to stay quit. I have asked others who slipped to come back when they are ready without anyone taking offense. If you have slipped and need help, ask for help, we don't need to hear how the cigarette tasted or all the gorey details, tell us how we can avoid slipping ourselves. Perhaps the Mods suggestion of: "Take what you need and leave the rest!" need to be remembered. We are all adults here and yes some of us are very emotional in their first weeks of quitting, and should think before we speak. It has become very negtive around here with all the pity parties! Support is supposed to be POSITIVE, not negative! This thread is not intended for blaming anyone. This thread is to get intelligent helpful ideas for us to get this site back the way it was. This site has always been a safe place to come to express yourself honestly and get support TO QUIT SMOKING or help to stay quit. This site is not for non-smokers only nor has it been in the last 2.5 yrs that I've come in here. IF I'M MISTAKEN, MOD'S ONLY, PLEASE CORRECT ME. It's also been a place where no one ever gets turned away, judged, slammed or asked to leave by another member. The other day a member relapsed and got kicked with all the above while she was down. Shortly following members including myself have been slamming each other and taking sides and shuning other members. One member already posted in here that she would not post if she relapses and probably come back under a different name. No one should feel like they are to ashamed or embarrassed to come in here for help. Why has this site come to this? Is this the way that it's going to stay? Are we going to allow that kind of behavior in here? This use to be such a wonderful place to come. Let's please work together and find solutions to make this place safe for people to come get help. Just b/c some of us have not experienced this happening to them, does not mean that it won't. That's why we need to find SOLUTIONS :) What can we do to keep this from happening again?
