Hey Pam, check out the weight post of yours that I bumped up. I don't know but maybe it will bring back some positive thoughts about being smoke-free again :) You are so caring and supportive. I just thought maybe if you read some of your own posts, it might help you. Just a thought :) Just breathe......ahhhhhhhhhh My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 60 Amount Saved: $14.40 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 8 Mins: 10 Seconds: 57

hey bfs, Have you thought about what this might do to your relationship with your boyfriend? After the "honeymoon" portion of the relationship is over, are you going to put part of the blame for losing your quit on this man? Or, what if he breaks up with you? You are left with no boyfriend again, but your addiction back in place. You have given many people advice about getting right back to their quits after a slip/relapse. You can do the same, if you want to. This addiction has many slippery slopes that we need to avoid for an indefinite period of time. You were not ready for a smoking boyfriend at this point in your quit. Live and learn. Only you can decide what you want to do next. My best to you. new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 85 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,040 Amount Saved: $425.00 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 18 Mins: 23 Seconds: 13

Butterfly, I saw your post this morning about your relapse and wasn't able to post. I hope it doesn't take you long to become sick of smoking and rejoin us in this journey. Members, There has been much conflict on the boards today. Although disheartening, only the individual in question has what it takes to make his or her quit go the distance. Some make it. Some don't. All we can do is keep this space open and safe for those who need help quitting when they are ready to do so. To those who may be leaving us, we wish you well and hope to see you return when you are ready. Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

Here here, stickin'.... I tip my hat too. If I hadn't experienced all the physical probs I did prior to this quit - I might be Miss smokin' again too... Here's to a world without this kind of addiction to contend with someday... mamaK My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 60 Amount Saved: $15.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 11 Mins: 46 Seconds: 20

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

We are going to do whatever we choose to do. This young lady tried hard although she just wasnt ready to stay with it, even after 2-1/2 years of staying smoke free. I quit at 24 once for 6 months and then said the he** with this I am going to die someday anyway and I smoked another 30 years, can you imagine. I tip my hat to this young lady for sticking to it for so long; it is harder I do believe when you are younger at least that was my experience. We wish you well and DONT stay away too long else you end up like me thinking about it for another 30 years, and I will not be here 30 years from now. Dont make yourself stick young lady! Stickin to it My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 573 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,314 Amount Saved: $3,151.50 Life Gained: Days: 104 Hrs: 14 Mins: 25 Seconds: 51
