Evie, Congrats on quitting, I think most of us here have quit multiple times and it really does feel great to be free. I exercised a lot the first week and that really helped curb the cravings. Congrats on quitting Evie! Today is my 2nd first day...lol I tried a few months ago but it didn't work then. Are you using anything to quit or going at it cold turkey?? I'm using the patch....again...and had WILD dreams last night thanks to it, but otherwise it has definately taken the edge off! A word of advice - stay on here. I wish I had before and I may not have relapsed!! Lots of water, deep breaths, read, and post! GOOD LUCK! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/17/2007 Smoke-Free Days: -3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: -60 Amount Saved: $-12.63 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: -17235

Sorry Evie bout the relapse but awesome that you are going to quit again! Welcome aboard. You got me a bit worried now that someone who has been quit for so long could pick up a cigarette! Lets get you all fixed up again and good as new shall we? Got to start by writing your reasons to quit list. Tape it up on the fridge. Good luck! Hi everyone, I am Evie and I can't wait to quit again. I had been smoking for 10 years, had quit for 4 and a half and managed to get addicted again about a year ago. Now I am totally fed up with smoking and can't forget how wonderful it felt to be free. At times I can't believe I was so stupid to start again but I think I ll stop worryig about my past mistake, I'll consider this whole thing a learning experience and I'll start over. So wish me luck especially for tomorow morning as nowadays waking up and smoking seem totally attached in my mind.
