Shutterbug, It sounds like you're doing fantastic! Stick with it and lose the morning coffee. Not because I'm a health nut, but because it is the #1 reason people I know say they go back to smoking. You can wake up just as easy with a walk around your neighborhood or a mile on a treakmill and it's better for you. Good luck with your husband too. Shutterbug, Glad to see that you are doing so well. As for that silly thought that you could still pick up a smoke and do it.... well as long as you don't your going to be ok. The farther away that you get from that last one, the easier it is to dismiss the thought. But to be very safe, don't even play around in your head with the idea that you could maybe have one after all this time. Because once your body gets the idea that you might give in, it will be back kicking and screaming like a two year old told no. You have accomplished a great thing! Just stick with it. Shutterbug, Thanks for checking in. Have you thought about making changes to your routine to help break this association? Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

Hi Shutterbug I'm feeling just like you are. Sometimes i'm having good days and i don't miss smoking at all. Other days (like today)i miss it a little bit. I miss the relaxing part...sitting outside and relax with my cigarette. I know it sounds stupid but it's how i feel. Don't worry, like you, i will be strong and get threw these harder days. Keep up the quit Shutterbug. Your stats are wonderful!!! I'm doing okay. Would like a cigarette every so often, but I don't. I don't want the nicotine because of the chantix, I just want the silly feeling, doing something with my hands when I have my morning coffee. But, I fight it. My husband just started on Chantix too, he will be joining the group too. Glad your all here to lend a hand. Hope your all doing well with quitting.
