Hey Kev,
Congrats on 4 weeks, I know how hard that is to do and you are looking good!!!
About the negative thing. I know there is two sides to ever story but for me the positive side is the only one to look at now. The demon talks enough sh** to me anyway. If I let negative thoughts enter the clouds start to turn dark. I'll just leave those for you to figure out.
I hope you are as proud of your 4 weeks as I am my 5. Let's keep it going!!!

Hi Danielle, thanks!
Positive thought is a very powerful tool, as long as you can harness it. The question routine is good. However looking at the extremes, a negative person might see what is the best outcome and what is the worst outcome as the same! Just a thought. I am playing devils advocate again probably. I think I may toy on improving the questions so that it is harder to give totally negative answers.
Half the battle is getting the negative side to see that a positive side exists in any situation.

Hi JDK,
Congratulations on 4 weeks! If you need help with those negative thought patterns, read the exercise I have posted on the positive thinking thread in the general discussion forums.

Good morning everyone. New thread new week. Week 5 for me now. Yippeee!! I'm calling it 'sunshine week'. :) In ode to penitent and co., I will attempt for every day this week to be a 'yay day' starting at 10am DST. That gives me a couple of hours to dispel negativity each morning.
Being on fluoxetine now is likley to help this process eventually too.
Can you change a 'I wanna die' attitude to a happy positive one? Well nothing is impossible. Any help gratefully received on this one. You may guess that this positivity thing is sooo key to me. :)
Well anyway, although 30 days are the celebration day, 28 is for me. That sybolises a completion of four whole weeks non smoking! That to me is absolutely amazing considering I thought I would only make 5 days max on cold turkey.
Love and peace.
Kev
