BC I hear you!! You have a great support group there, in fact if it were not for a few of them I would not be here. It is my prayer and hope that you never ever have to go though hell week again.
Some here do not remember when you could smoke just about anywhere and anytime you wanted to. It is almost laughable to think of the places you could smoke. Like the grocery store, at work, at school functions, when you went to the hospitals, docotor offices. OMG things have changed.
I had to go though the grandchildren thing also. With our daughter we had to wash our hands before we could hold the baby. Of course I knew there would be no smoking in the house. Our son was picky also. But good for them!!! They know better, we didn't. Now if they could get that though their wonderful little minds. We smoked to be cool, to be accepted, and because the tobaco company got us hooked.
We both are at an age where to stop is huge. For me I smoked 50 years. I will never live to be smoke free 50 years. Now that is sad, but I have quit and so glad you made the same choice.
Keep the Quit
