Don't beat yourself up over it. Here in the country I live in, if you catch a bad cold, and I often do; they take you off your meds and give you cold medicine. The next day I stopped antidepressants, I was trying to sleep off my cold, and I had the most terrible nightmares that were sort of hallucigentic in feeling, as though now I know what people who suffer from hallucinations must feel like, only it was just a dream. I was so glad to wake up. This happens to me if I sleep in the daytime, in sort of a half asleep way. I don't understand the logic in this treatment over here, they say the medications don't mix, so you have to freak out instead. Wow....I'm not particularly anxious in bed or panicing, or depressed, so I guess it's o.k., but I'm afraid I will be sicker if I have to stay off them for a while. DOes anybody understand this?
