Thank goodness Bear - you've put your coat back on. The sight of you yesterday nearly made me run to the shop and buy some nicotine. I just like being a non-smoker and that's what I keep reminding myself if I'm tempted. :) Gen My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 132 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,112 Amount Saved: 660.00 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 11 Mins: 55 Seconds: 59

I think addiction is overrated. I don't want to smoke any more, so I don't. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/18/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1176 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 23,520 Amount Saved: 5,880.00 Life Gained: Days: 188 Hrs: 21 Mins: 18 Seconds: 59

Bear, I believe that each day it becomes harder to relapse - as the quit gets longer, there is more at stake! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 540 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 16,200 Amount Saved: 4,050.00 Life Gained: Days: 86 Hrs: 18 Mins: 1 Seconds: 20

Addiction at whatever level would appear to be a chronic disease that could leave us open to relapse at any time which we have in fact observed on this site.So my question is how have you as an individual managed to maintain your quit and prevented yourself from relapsing :quest: or in fact did you need to relapse before you got the message.
