Hi Sandra! Great to see you - you are looking so good at 3 years! :) :) :) A lot of us 'oldies' are still floating around and dropping in to say Hi every now and then. Most of the gang are still in contact - nothing like a bit of shared crisis to unite us! Many, many congratulations on your fab quit. Martha - I wonder if all of you "long-timers" know how much it means to those of who are early in our quits, half way to the beach, at the beach... Sometimes I have dreams that I mess up and smoke and it just about breaks my heart. I am constantly afraid that something will happen and I will smoke, but then I see posts from some of you who have made it as long as this and I know I will NEVER SMOKE AGAIN. You are an amazing group of people who after probably having their quits managed and are able to cope without this site take the time to come back here and help us along. I cannot thank you enough!!!!!!!!!! Mercy my dear you will just have to wait and find out for yourself. You are well on your way! Thanks Lolly, Rusty and Duffis - really an honor to be journeying with such an amazing group of rough riders! The wisdom among the members here is humbling...how were we ever fooled into smoking for so long? A big shout out also to the "big stat people" who were here when I began - Lin, Leslie, Katy, No Smokin Tresa, Lizzie, John W and of course Bubba. What an inspiration you all are! Right now there is a wonderful chemistry among the 'regulars' here and I know that whether you are on Day 1 or 100 you can be standing where I am today and it all happens...yup, one day at a time. Great post and great quit, I salute you and just to let you know you are one of my favs and are up there with many others who have gone before me. You are an example to follow. I am heading for three years and hope to be there soon. It is people like you that remind me that this quit process can really work.
