What a wonderful post Sparky! Happy Birthday to you! Somehow we've managed to keep each other going whether we needed support, advice, good friends or just a good laugh...and we are doing it! You are so right...This quit is just for us (But isn't it such a great surprise when we are enjoying that time with family and friends and realize that we are not counting the minutes till our next cigarette!?) You have been at the center of this circle of friends and we are so lucky to have you. I can't imagine how many great friendships have developed through scc! By the way - What are clotted cornish hens?? BIG (((((hugs))))) for Sparky!!!!! Golly---I don't know what I would do without my t-riffic quit buddies either! I know I don't come around as often as I would like to, but I sure credit the lot of you for keeping me on the straight and narrow! I've shared with you all during one of the most life-altering events of my life---quitting, and I appreciate all the support along the way. Windy was so generous with her blankets when I needed to hide from it all, Phil was ever present with his humor, Jan always had an encouraging word, Marie with her consistent 'one day at a time' reminders and got me in trouble with clotted cornish game hens, etc, etc, etc..... Hey John thanks for the picture. In fact the trail that my hubby and I walk, we had the geese fly over. It was so cool. If I had picture of that it would look like yours :p The trail we walk is along a creek so see a lot of nature. Everyone thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a great day. Ate way to much, but what the heck. I was smoke free!!!! Life can't get any better than that can it? Blue Cloud, I quit a couple days before I turned 62 and I quit while I was 62. A shame what occured in between. But we rock and we are smoke free.
