Hi Mercy, Hope the meds work for you & you are rid of the pain. I started my quit with shingles, severe back muscle spasms & blood pressure out of sight. I am fine now. Quitting smoking solved a lot of problems. I am so thankful to have wised up & threw them away. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 140 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,200 Amount Saved: $490.00 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 20 Mins: 42 Seconds: 39

Mercy, I have an idea of where you're at. I was on strong pain killers after recent feet operations but I quite liked the buzz! Only thing is it took me two horrible days to come down off them: feeling grotty, hungry and yearning for a smoke. Have decided I won't take them again unless I really need to. Maybe soon I can power walk too and shift a few pounds. Be good for chasing horses too. BEAR... I don't have too....i'm short enough to look UP!! :8o: GENEVIEVE.. I have bad fibro...like really bad right now and they found I have rhuematoid arthritis with it. I am such an active person. Well..this new med makes me high. Like..happy high. I am getting more use to it. I think you adjust (I hope) Or else I'll be a spacey goat. It has been a blessing. I have'nt been this pain free in a long time. I can even power walk twice a day...and I mean really power walk!! I'm going to start working out again. The pain is still there....but it is a seizure med that blocks the impulses to the brain. The first couple of days being spacy made me want to smoke. I don't feel that now at all....but it did. That really scared me. It gives you that happy I don't care feeling....which for quiting smoking is not good. mercy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 192 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,840 Amount Saved: $858.24 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 6 Mins: 35 Seconds: 45

O.K. THE GOAT MADE A LITTLE MISTAKE....NO "BUTTS" ABOUT IT :p Give me a little slack.... my new meds still have me reeling high. IT WASN'T 10,0000 CIGARETTES NOT SMOKED.... THE 10 CAME FROM .... ...10 CIGARETTES AWAY FORM BEING ....READY...READY...READY.. (drum roll.....suspense in the air as the goat announces the retractioin and correction of the exact total for the horse) 16,0000 ...yes folks.... 16,000 cigarettes not smoked!! So Mr Ed...... YOU'LL HAVE TO....REAR UP A LITTLE HIGHER!! :8o: Mercy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 192 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,840 Amount Saved: $858.24 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 5 Mins: 54 Seconds: 9
