gritting my teeth

thanks for the info, hope your tooth feels okay. Have been eating small amounts of fresh fruit and chewing gum. Met two more people using Chantix, they said it worked great for them. My husband will be starting it soon. Hope we survive this. Married 40 years so far! yup, for the first couple mos Shutter! You got to find something that is near Zero calories and keeps you busy. Some use Sunflower seeds, cause you have to crack them open, do all this work to get a little tiny seed. Sue bought some very low all natural cheese puffs that are pretty good. I think Celery and Carrots are what the experts will tell ya! I too had the clinching (still do) problem, need to be careful, I ended up cracking a tooth and had to get a crown put on. Thanks everyone. One day at a time. But I have a question. Did anyone else have an out of control appetite? It seems I am ALWAYS HUNGRY! I went to the store and bought fresh fruit, trying to stay away from candy, it gives me HOT FLASHES! My husband is seeing his doctor today about his injured hand, and is asking about Chantix. It will make my quitting easier if I don't smell his smoke. At least we can encourage each other. Keep at it everyone, and thanks for the continued support, I really need it. You are doing great!!! I just keep asking myself, do you really want to start a quit AGAIN? The answer is NO, NO, NO, AND NO!!! The thoughts have been managable and they are becoming less. I know I am a smoker in a non-smoker body for now. I am learning more and more about quitting. I have quit long enough to have found pent up energy. It feels wonderful. So hang in there. Keep the Quit Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 90 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 900 Amount Saved: $270.00 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 3 Mins: 32 Seconds: 55

today has seemed longer than usual. I have kept busy, wanted to smoke, could have driven to the store and bought some. But, I didn't, instead I just kept moving. Kept finding things to do. My husband does not smoke around me anymore, so it makes things easier. He is actually going to call his doctor and see if he can go on Chantix too. My living room smells so much better! I gritted my teeth A LOT! I am succeeding! Two weeks and counting. Thanks to you all. We are in this together My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/10/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 18 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 360 Amount Saved: $72.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 11 Mins: 25 Seconds: 17
