Gonnadoit, Hubby and I watched KY derby also, then Nascar race was slated but it was just rained out. What are you going to do for exercise? I'm here to join the club. I have not been active at all since I quit and the scale has been rising. My clothes are very tight and I refuse to buy bigger ones. Instead, I pledge to walk 1 mile every day this week (weather permitting). I also need to cut down on my soda consumption and drink water instead. Hopefully there are a few more of you couch potatoes out there that will join us! :eg: Tell ya what, sista....... You keep swimming and exercising and I'll let ya know if it's doing me any good! Today I drove to the soccer fields where my daughter played for about two hours. I then drove to Hooters where we ate hot wings and hubby and I had two beers each. Came home, parked in front of the TV, watched the KY Derby. All these sporting events have exhausted me! Yep. I AM a couch potato! ***heavy sigh*** My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 239 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,992 Amount Saved: $1912 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 9 Mins: 32 Seconds: 58

OK, all of you couch potatos out there who need to lose a few (or a bunch of) pounds, post here! Say what you did for exercise today. Maybe together, we can support each other enough to lose the weight and get healthy! Today, I swam for 1/2 an hour. I wanted to swim for 45 minutes, but my arm was getting sore, so I quit. I'm going to try to swim everyday, increasing the time I swim for until I'm up to swimming for 45 minutes to an hour straight. Then, I'll hold there. Who else? Crave the Quit!
