Thanks guys ! I am so glad .. so blessed to have all of you watching
my back and sticking by me :)
Blue Cloud, good for you ! I'm so happy to read that you too are
moving out of that horrible blue feeling.
Josie is absolutely right.. take time for much rest and relaxation
whenever possible. Our bodies are healing. We've put ourselves
through so much abuse that now we really need to have as much down
time as possible mixed up with many distractions and most importantly
to accept it .. the feelings and just let it all go when necessary.
Today was sooooooo much better and I'm feeling really rejuvenated.
I want to hang on to this feeling for as long as possible. When/if
it all hits again I'm now very prepared for it.. and knowing that
YOUR here for me will make it better a lot faster.
Thanks again everyone.. (((((((((hugs))))))))))

Sam
I'm very glad to hear that you're feeling better. And also proud of you for hanging in there when it was so difficult. Great attitude in terms of learning and acceptance of the whole darn process. I was thinking it might be helpful for those who come along, to have your today's post added to the other thread, so anyone dealing with similar experiences will be able to see there is an end to those blue days.
Enjoy yourself

Hi Sam, so Happy for you. I too am moving out from under that cloud.
Isn't it amazing how sticking to it is paying off. I had been feeling bad about smoking and from smoking for so long it had become my normal. I am so glad I quit and even more rewarding is the fact that I am starting to feel good. I'm proud for you. Keep on doing what you been doing and I'll keep up with you on the board. HARD WORK.

It all started around noon yesterday -- The low, blue like feelings
lifted and I began to feel so much better :)
I took full advantage of feeling better inspite of the fracture on
the top of my foot and went out to do a little shopping, got home
made some decaf coffee and simply relaxed with a good book !
No tears, no sadness and today I woke up feeling very well rested
and back in the game with a much clearer mind. *phew* It was a
tough 3 days, quite admittedly the longest 3 days I've had in a very
long time - BUT now they are in the past and I'm washing my hands of
them and moving forward once again.
IF this should ever happen to me again I won't be so afraid of it and
allow myself to simply go with the moment(s) and give myself
permission to FEEL.
Thanks to everyone who supported and advised me during that very
rough patch :) :)
Sam
