Bear, You've got a wonderful quit going!!!! I have struggled over the past few months like you wouldn't believe. I wish I was where you are right now. But like anything else...I have to EARN that privilege. Keep your quit going strong and ENJOY!!!! Bear, and just what kind of person would you like to be? The power is within you, but I think you are just who you should be! It's all in how you look at it Bear. I think the ones who have a harder quit maybe delve a little deeper inside, to get out that extra courage and strength. It is there for all of us. You find what you are looking for. We are all changed people to an extent, as we have all had to learn how to deal with emotions again. Perhaps this is something I can start telling my smoking friends... "Did you know that smoking deadens your emotions?" :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 138 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,450 Amount Saved: $1,455.90 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 21 Mins: 25 Seconds: 48

Instead of feeling jealous over that, create a mental image of you sitting in that big comfy chair instead of them, smiling from ear to ear, and the words, "I kicked the smokes and you can too!" draped above you =) Let that be your goal =) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 303 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,545 Amount Saved: $909.00 Life Gained: Days: 27 Hrs: 9 Mins: 25 Seconds: 25

Bear, BFS is correct. Why in the world would you want a harder quit? I for one am thrilled that it went as smoothly as it did. I get the same joy and benefits as those who had a harder quit. Just enjoy the quit, however you got there! Nance PS yours wasn't as easy as you think...you just don't remember. Bear, You know what they say... "The grass is greener on the other side" and I think that holds up here too. Just ask anybody who's had a difficult quit... they will think you're CRAZY for wanting a harder one! My quit was very hard... I fought and fought and fought and stumbled a few times and then fought some more! I don't see why ANYBODY would be envious of the HELL I went through for the first 9 months of this journey! And through that whole time, I was envious of those who seemed to have an easier time quitting! I wanted an easy quit too and HATED seeing people seemingly bragging about how easy it was for them! So like I said, the grass is always greener on the other side. So be grateful that you had an easy time quitting and count your blessings! Many don't have it that easy and would kill for an easier quit! Crave the Quit!
