Bold, Great to have you back! Please keep quiting, you are so worth it and you are right about wanting to live a long life. You will do it. Many people never worry about tomorrow with their health but tomorrow does arrive and then you have regrets. Now is the time to do it. Just move forward. bold Thats it...Get back in the game...Listen, from your last posts, I got the feeling that you are beginning to understand that nicotine is a self medicating substance and as such we use it to "treat" our shall I say least pleasant emotive states...Think about what you are thinking about when the urge hits you...Alot of times we smoke simply because we are "tangled up in blue" (thanks to old Bob Dylan)...The only way that I know how to stop doing that is to deal with the down times in more productive ways...This is a very individual matter and can only be addressed by the person as they pass through these different emotional states of being...But by realizing that nicotine acts as a form of self medication we take the first (sometimes painful) steps toward doing life sans nicotine... Stay well there are many people here who want you to be make a go of this... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 205 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,150 Amount Saved: $1,435.00 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 10 Mins: 5 Seconds: 56

Hey guys I did something stupid last night I shouldnt have done this early in my quit... I went to a bar and had a smoke but it tasted so awful that when I got home I iced the pack in water and I felt more better about myself then when I was smoking the cig it just didnt do anything for me just all the drinking I did led to it and the social activity but I will not put myself in that situation again i'm doing with going to bars for a while because it is just to big of a trigger for me. And I kept thinking to myself as I was smoking do I want to die of lung cancer at a early age or live a long and good life and lung cancer is not one way I want to die I can tell you that. Sucks I have to start over because of that bad mistake I made last night but I will not let it happen again.
