Be proud Bold, You saw it for what it was. Because you have jumped right back on the band wagon you shouldn't really be effected. Don't allow the addiction to load quilt up on you. It's done and over. Move on and best of all..... when we learn from mistakes they become positives on our behalf. I'm not much of a drinker....but it seems that it is a real trigger for many people. Nonic gave you some great advice. As far as your meter. It doesn't really matter what it says....so long as you remain smoke free and not die a gruesome death. Great job! bold, glad to see you are back. drinking and the whole bar scene is the worst for me, that is what messed me up last time after three months of not smoking. this time i told all my friends i am not drinking for a while and i think it is just something i am going to have to avoid. the fact that you are still with it though is great! Good for you for putting the rest of them on ice, bold! That'a a very definitive statement & an empowering thing to do. I slipped in the same way at about the same place & got right back on again, too. I won't say I'm glad it happened but I did learn from it & I think it made my quit stronger. I hope it does the same for you. Good choice, bold! Sounds like your learning curve is going up...you figured out what trigger you responded to by smoking, and how to avoid it for a while. A one time slip is common and it sounds like you learned from it. It's really good you had just one and got rid of the pack, so you don't need to go through those three days of withdrawals again. Now, put it behind you and move forward. We're all pulling for you -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 118 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,720 Amount Saved: $802.40 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 12 Mins: 17 Seconds: 4
