The Fundamentals
In times of craves or smoking thoughts, my first reaction was to think hey what is this? I dont smoke. I knew from the get-go that a tool box filled with distractions would be key in helping me to preserve my quit. Practicing the fundamentals of keeping the mind busy and body active was crucial in times of being confronted.
I understood that it was just as easy for me to say that I can and to believe that I can then to simple fall hopelessly a victim. I can not say enough about positive thinking. Yes, I know I can. I know that I can. By applying tactics, you can buy time and gain the upper hand, the winning hand.
Next Monday, July 23, I will have been smoke free for 18 months after being smoke filled for 40 years. I feel good that I not a smokeer and I have no desire to be a smoker. God, Im sure we all understand that.
For it is a matter of believing in your own abilities to do what is best for you. No one else, it is you where the decisions lie. You can be successful when you think in term of being a success; yes I can, I know that I can.
