I Dreamed I lost My Quit

Wake up and treat yourself! You had a rough night and you deserve a break :) Think positive and do a relaxation technique or two before bed the next night. This will help you ease into your sleep and lessen your vivid dreams :) Josie, Support Specialist

Bold... it is a dream. Put it behind you. It only has as much control over you as you allow it to. Dismiss the thought of smoking as soon as it begins. Easier said than done I know but that is how you fight the junkie thinking. Life is too short and you have to fight for this quit. No matter what happens, don't give up. Make your quit a reality and not a dream. It is possible. Yeah over the past few nights i've been having a lot of smoking dreams, and its really good waking up knowing it was just a dream but it does make the day harder to get through without smoking after having those dreams :( My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 34 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 510 Amount Saved: $146.63 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 15 Mins: 55 Seconds: 0

Well count me in, I remembered reading this post, and it took me a while to find it, but last night I had a dream I was puffing away. It was my first smoking dream, very strange, seemed so real. I'm just glad it wasn't. NOPE (not one puff ever). It is a motto that every quitter should adopt. We are all only one puff away from being full addicts again. I've only had two smoking dreams during my entire quit. They were enough for me. I don't care to have any more. I think you are doing great Blue Cloud! Keep going and be proud of what you have accomplished! Count me in for killing my quit in a dream! Actually it was a nightmare. I bought a pack of ciggs and smoked them in my closet so no one would know I was cheating, then I had to wash all of my clothes because they smelled like ciggs! Lol. Hi Blue Cloud, I still have these dreams from time to time and they are so real. They scare the hell out of me and sometimes it takes several minutes to figure out it didn't happen. I think we are having them to keep us on the right path. Keep the quit ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 119 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,380 Amount Saved: $773.50 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 19 Mins: 31 Seconds: 11

blue cloud Dreams are good, it is a way of working things out in a safe environment...I feel that instead of being harbingers of that which is to come, they are an opportunity for us to evaluate future possibilities... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 205 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,150 Amount Saved: $1,435.00 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 10 Mins: 3 Seconds: 44

Hi, These dreams are normal and a sign to tell you that you are healing. What's keeping you busy during days, will be worked out in your dreams. 'The dreams are helping you to stay focussed. Good luck :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 473 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 14,190 Amount Saved: 2,234.93 Life Gained: Days: 66 Hrs: 16 Mins: 49 Seconds: 59
