Hey Sunflower, I hope your new quit is going ok. I have been quit for over a year and I still think about it often. I know if I ever take one puff that would be it for me also. My little girl who is almost 3 keeps it fresh in my mind why I am still quit. Hugs Alley

Well hello Sunflower I was thinking the other day probably that if most non smokers smoked for a month, I'll bet they would be just like us, addicted. We enjoyed smoking the non smokers never gave it enough time to enjoy it however we gave it plenty of time. Let's just take this one day at a time and not get ahead of ourselves to reach that year goal. We think in the present tense not future for now. The future is out there and is not going anywhere will out you. Good to see ya! And yes lotd of new faces, lots of real supportive newer quitters; like you Sunshine :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 540 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,720 Amount Saved: $2,970.00 Life Gained: Days: 98 Hrs: 14 Mins: 4 Seconds: 20

Thank you all for your replies and nice words! Yes, N.O.P.E is the only way to go. It is hard to start all over again, but I am commited to quit and this time I know what to expect. Hey Sunflower, Don't beat yourself up. I did the same thing. I had 31 days and one puff was all it took to put me back to a pack a day habit. It took me well over a year and about three sick spells to finally wake up enough to stop again. Thank God I found this site. I know one puff is all it takes to break a quit and so do you. Maybe we can be of help to others who have that lesson yet to learn. NOPE is the Key for you and me. Feel the Love. Sunflower, Welcome back. You already helped someone!!...ME!! Next week I will be 6 months quit and every bunch of days I still have some junkie thoughts. (like today). Your shook me up and scared me at how easy it is to mess up. Thank you so much. You did it before and I know you can do it again. I quit so many times I can't even count how many. But.... all those times helped me get where I am now. Hope to get to know you better, Mercy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 174 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,480 Amount Saved: $777.78 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 21 Mins: 53 Seconds: 22
