Straighflop, First off, congrats on 30 days! Do be sure to reward yourself! With regards to the two day crave, it isn't uncommon for quitters at this stage of their quits to experience a few good days and a few bad. Get back to basics for the bad days and employ the same strategies that got your through the first month. Keep persevering! Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

I did the exact same thing...I had them again at 60 days. After that I was fine (atleast I think I am! haha) The good news is they go as quick as they come, you know what to do. Keep going and stay stong! You will do fine - My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 186 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,790 Amount Saved: $781.20 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 6 Mins: 34 Seconds: 28

Hi straightflop I just bumped up 2 threads about this phenomenon "Interesting"..... and "Longtimers were right" both in the Coping with Cravings Forum These milestones craves will go away soon, as long as you don't smoke. If you smoke you'll have craves every 20 minutes or so again :eg: Rewards and preparing for them really are the key to dealing with these I think. -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 113 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,520 Amount Saved: $768.40 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 19 Mins: 55 Seconds: 5

You are sooooo tough Straightflop - I have no worries about you! I have been having dreams the last couple of nights that I have smoked and then I wake up completely freaked out for a few minutes until I realize I did not smoke. CRAZY! Yep, Unhooked is right! That 30 day pit's a real humdinger, isn't it? Make sure Straightflop, that you're rewarding yourself well! I think that these "milestone cravings" come because our brains know that we've done this awesome thing and now want to be rewarded for it... and it'd like a cigarette! But as you said, it's not going to get one. So make sure you reward yourself with something else, k? That really does help the cravings go away. Congrats on 1 month of freedom! Crave the Quit!
