As you said there is an awesome group of people here who are in the same situation as you are and we're all in this together.. So you keep on doing what you are doing coz you're doing a fabulous job ! :) xo My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 140 Amount Saved: $50.75 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 19 Mins: 5 Seconds: 32

Boy, Cheeks... that's gotta be disheartening! Sorry... But you're right... we're here, we do understand, and we do support you. What your mom is thinking is beyond me! I'd have to guess that she's not really thinking at all. This is for you, though... not your mom. You have to believe in yourself, and care enough for yourself to do this. Keep lookin' up! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 129 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,225 Amount Saved: $1,193.25 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 17 Mins: 20 Seconds: 3

Oh yes, my home was smoke free even when I smoked. I refused to subject my husband and son to the second hand smoke. Cigarettes Not Smoked

I absolutely love the support that this site offers and here's one reason why. We had a small get together at our house tonight for my son's birthday. There were a few people we invited that smoke, one of them is my mother. I was trying to talk to her about the difficult day that I had while breaking this smoking addiction. Her response absolutely floored me. She looked right at me, serious as a heart attack and said "Well, if it's that hard, just don't quit smoking." I was speechless. Not that she has always been the most supportive person in the world, but this took the cake. The best news is that even after the really rough day that I had and having complete access to cigarettes tonight (both people who smoke would have gladly "bummed" me a smoke) I DID NOT smoke. I resisted the urge and I feel awesome for doing so. I just wanted to come here and share my experience from this evening and let all of you know how much you ROCK MY SOCKS!!! :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 135 Amount Saved: $30.38 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 19 Mins: 18 Seconds: 3
