Today was so hard, I thought for sure I was going to start again. I was out driving home & very tempted to stop at every gas station I passed, so I call Lady and she talked me all the way home. :) I can pretty much guarantee that I'll be going to sleep soon and have made it through another day, whew. The last 4 days have been extememly difficult. I'll have to give Ms. Lady a break and start calling my friend ladybugg, lol. Anybody seen Danny lately? Just breathe....... Thank you Danielle, it was a tough one yesterday. To be honest with you to find myself still smoke-free was a huge reward in itself. Plus I've rewarded my self with enough Mc Donald's ice cream cones lately, lol. The pain isn't over yet, nor will it be for quite awhile due to a relationship I need to move on from. It's so hard & well just plain sucks. Today I've had a couple moments of wanting to smoke but didn't and now I'm just exhausted and going to take a nap. Hopefully I will make it through tonight and wake up smoke-free again tomorrow. Just breathe....... Sorry for your pain. I've been where you are...know how you feel. I totally understand your confusion of when we are hurting we want to hurt more by relapsing. I've been trying to figure that out too. You did the right things though. Asked for help, laid down, deep breaths. In awhile the moment of clarity will peek through the pain and you will see that not smoking was the better choice. You are going to make it. Keep calling your friend. She's been there too.
