I thought this was a good idea b/c it would take us back to the time when we were pure & inocent before the smokes were even a thought in our childhood minds. Just breathe... My childhood memory is of a birthday party for me when I was in the second grade. My Teacher gave me a minature set of dishes. I remember my 1st cig too. I was 13,it made me sick as a dog. Me and my best girlfriend started at the same time. She had heart surgury about 3 years ago and quit. Thank God we are both still alive. There are lotz of good things to talk about,I remember building pretend houses on the mossy spots in the woods and how beautiful the purple velvet violets were in the spring. My best childhood memories are of Halloween. My mother would make us all the most imaginative costumes out of practically nothing & we would be so excited for days before, to see what she would come up with for us. The year I was 6, she made the coolest Indian princess costume out of a potato sack! I also remember my first cigarette but not my last one! I must have been 4, I remember waking up one Christmas morning before everyone else was up except my dad. Came into the living room and he had the fireplace going and all the lights lit. To my excitement a big toy truck parked in to the side of the fireplace and piles of presents! All our christmas's were memorable ones, for some reason this one stands out to this day. Joyful, You do make us think don't you! My first good memory that I remember is when I was 9 years old. I played a cornet solo at Music camp. Marines Hymn was the tune and I can still play it from memory today :) I won a first place trophy for the band I was in at the time. I was so proud. My BEST good memory... Is waking up and realizing that I am FREE from the enslavement of smoking! There is nothing in the world like NOT HAVING TO SMOKE!!!! Ok Ms. Lady told me to come up with a game for all of us to play. For us newbies doing games helps to take your mind off smoking. It also keeps your brain occupied so you can't hear any stinkin thinkin. For the not so newbies, finding things to be greatful for puts a smile on your face and shows off those bright white (untarred) teeth. :) So here goes... We all have many good memories but do you remember your very 1st good memory? I'll start ;) Gosh this is kinda tough. I don't remember much of my childhood. Ok I have 2. I think the 1st good memory I have was when I was 8 yrs. old and was in my 1st dance receital. I had the prettiest baby blue satin ballet costume that my Mother sewed just for me. And the 2nd one is also when I was 8 and my Mother came home with my new baby brother. I remember she went to change his diaper and he decided to go straight up in the air between diapers, lol. I remember I thought it was just so funny. Well this helped me to take my mind off smoking. It's easy to type with both hands free, lol.
