Seamus, it is the right time... because there is NO right time. The junkie, the addict... will never allow there to be a right time. Trust me, Seamus. I know. And I think you know too.
You've come almost all the way through the physical withdrawal. Sometime with-in the next day to 2 days... maybe less... you will have come all the way through the worst of it. After that... it's the living part... the identity issues... the emotional and psychological adjustments. But the physical withdrawal will be over.
You are 29 years old. You can totally reclaim your life and your health!! Don't...do not... throw this chance away.
You can do this...as each of us has done this. We've all gone through some version of what you're experiencing... and we made it. So Can you!!
Raid the fridge, eat candy, drink water, go off and cry if you have to... but don't let the addict win. You can be free. This is your chance.
We're here. Keep posting, and don't worry about needing us too much. We know what it's like... and we'll be here for you as much as you need us.
