Hey Beren Good of you to come by and join...You will find a great many people here who are dealing with the same demons that have befallen your good self...Basically we are all nicotine junkies trying to wake up from our nicotine dreams...Don't worry about your friends, when they are ready to lay the burden down they will...For right now you need to invest in yourself and figure out how your going to overcome this thing that we have all willingly allowed in our lives for so long now... Read, study and most of all truly understand your motivation as regards this odd habit of ingesting 4000 chemicals every hour or so during your waking hours...(And you thought we were all sane creatures). Don't be hard on yourself, just realize that this is going to take a great deal of patience, determination and awareness...We are addicts and as such are attempting one of the most difficult feats for a human being ...CHANGING BEHAvIOUR...couple that with the fact that the behaviour we are altering is created by one of the most addictive substances under the sun and you can see why you will take great pride in every step forward you take... So from one junkie to another I wish you well as you hurry on down to quitten town... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 191 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,730 Amount Saved: $1,337.00 Life Gained: Days: 34 Hrs: 20 Mins: 59 Seconds: 1
