Hi, daviscup, glad to see you stop in. Lots of people here have mentioned that problem although I think you were the most descriptive! 17 days is great, you're doing wonderfully! congratulations daviscup Well, seems like your sense of humor is in tact! Apples and bananas help with constipation, I think; also lots of water. And, of course, there are the over the counter aids for that. I also was a 20+ a day smoker, but for a few more years than you. Isn't it a great feeling to see that you can actually be free from this addiction? Adopt the saying NOPE..not one puff EVER. That has always been my downfall. Thinking "Oh, I have been quit for a month now, I can have ONE" Well, One is too many and a thousand is never enough. That one cig can lead back into a lifetime of addiction. Wow, 17 days. You are doing great. it is worth all the wind! HA! new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 120 Amount Saved: $25.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 40 Seconds: 29

Yep - found a new way to save on your energy bills, and could also use it to save filling the car up with fuel. SO WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT? Well only way to say it is 'Gawd am I full of gas or what these last few days'. Could go undercover as a rocket powered engine or something. It's going hand in hand with being somewhat constipated, and so bloated (look like I'm in the early stages of pregnancy - and no I'm not if anyone asks - no sign of the North Star either!); and some nausea. Goes with the giving up smoking for many I know that, and probably also a few side effects from the Champix I'm on. Over 2 weeks now not smoking, and this is only the 2nd time in over 20 years that I haven't smoked for more than 2 days, rest of the time been a serious 20+ a day. Still taking one moment at a time and not trying to look too far ahead - and suppose I can put up with a little more gas (as long as the others can - lol!!!) if it is just my guts sorting themselves out. [I would love to attach a powerpoint presentation to this post which would really cheer a few people up that are experiencing the wonders of wind - but not sure if I can, or how I could do it if I can - anyone know if it is possible?] My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 340 Amount Saved: 85.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 14 Mins: 9 Seconds: 7
