Hey Mercy, there is a high from cigarettes. Last fall when I caved, I really noticed it for the first day. After that I guess we get used to it. Light headedness and a bit giddy...just like the first time, but it is a subtle high, not one you would notice every time you light up! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 116 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,900 Amount Saved: $1,223.80 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 6 Mins: 33 Seconds: 36

A thought....hope it gives you a different spin. Other addictions do something for you. They get you high..give you a buzz...whatever. But with nicotine, we smoked to feel normal. We smoked to feel comfortable like the non smoker always does. We really didn't get much for our money. We paid to feel like others feel for FREE!!! What we really are addicted to is the discomfort of not feeling normal. We like feeling out of sorts and being brought back to a normal state. Gosh, the non smokers feel that way for free and without thousands of dangerous chemicals. Give that a thought. mercy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 159 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,180 Amount Saved: $710.73 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 23 Mins: 21 Seconds: 33
