Who are the Febuary 07 Quitters?

Hey everyone, just wanted to say I'm still hanging in there and not smoking. Feeling pretty crappy cuz I had day surgery yesterday but it felt good to be able to relax afterword without worring about when I could smoke again. Anyway, hang in there everyone. We all have a great quit going. Oh and Nuahs28 (my hubby) is on day 25 and without any signs of cracking. (I'm so proud of him......the lucky %@#* !!) Still hangin on for dear life down here. Kids driving me nutty, but I suppose that's just what they seem to do best. Oh Well. Miss Pre- Teen is starting to get this horrible mouth on her that just grates on my nerves, only 6 more years to go....yipee.......NOT! My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 567 Amount Saved: $181.5 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 14 Mins: 45 Seconds: 59

well, everyone, Just checkin in at the end of......WooHoo.......WEEK 2. It's been going really well. Overall, I have not been craving at all for the last 4 days. Once I understood that this was what I wanted, and that I wasn't denying myself, I was allowing myself to live the life that I wanted, no more cravings. That was, up until a horrible 5 hours yesterday when hubby and I were arguing and I wanted nothing more than to walk away and find a smoke somewhere, but I didn't (and neither did he) and now it's actually settled. We didn't walk away and forget about it, we settled it. Smoke freeee :) I feel so proud of us. If we both got through yesterday smoke free, then I know that we are gonna be ok. I don't want to have to ever go through Days 1, 2, or 3 again, and I won't. And now I feel like I can actually move past just quittng, and go back to enjoying life....This time, the new me. My name is Tara, and I am a Non-Smoker :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 13 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 340 Amount Saved: $107.25 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 23 Mins: 14 Seconds: 32

I won't quit now. It's been too many days of heck to have to do this again. And I knwo that if I had a smoke I would just want to quit again. I had my 1st smoking dream though. Only, my hubby was leaving me, so I told him "Fine, but I'm gonna start smoking again, that way you will leave broke." :) HAHAHA At least I am realizing the money this has cost us. I quit on Feb 15th (Hubby on the 19th) so I like the Valentine's name idea. I think it should have crazy in it, maybe, cuz we muxt all be going a little crazy by now. Thanks for the words and keep posting. i think thats a great idea. In fact, I have been so close to just giving in that maybe this will help me to push harder. I would love to know and to keep in contact with those who quit this month. As for the name of our group, I can say my mom and I quit on Valentines day (other than my relapse, hence the date change) because it was a day of love, blah blah blah LOL. So why not name us something to do with Valentines Day? Or, there's also Presidents' Day, and even the start of Lent (although that's a religious event and therefore not appropriate for everyone?). I'm sure I'll find out eventually what kind of name we're getting! ~Nursey My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 47 Amount Saved: $13.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 5 Mins: 24 Seconds: 31

I'm here! I actually quit 2/14/07, but had a relapse on the 21st, so changed my quit date to the 22nd. CallMeMomMom also quit 2/14...I'll have to see if I can get her to check in here also (and any of her other friends who may have quit around the same time).
